You’re Wrong

Here’s a nice coincidence: as I was writing my last post, saying how awesome some band were, my brother happened to be writing a post saying how awesome some other band are.

Now, this band he likes dress up as pirates, and gyarr, make metal music. I am no expert, but having listened to their myspace, the music works, but the singing could do with a lot of work, so as to make it somehow good. I said something of the sort in a comment to that page, and my brother pointed out they are supporting Turisas, who we are going to see in March, and if they find out I called them rubbish, they may just kill me.

Now, here’s a question, who would win in a fight? A bunch of Finnish vikings, or some pirates? My brother’s response:

The fact that you need even ask shows me two things:
1) You’re an idiot.
2) You’re an idiot.

In other news, pirates could kick *anyone’s* ass, they even have ninja-detection goggles.

I disagree. Not about being an idiot part, I am sometimes. Not even about pirates beating ninjas. They so could, if there were enough pirates, and the fight happened at sea. No, I disagree because Vikings were the original pirates. They came over here, raping our women and stealing our jobs hundreds of years before the pirates went over to the Caribbean and raped women and stole stuff. Really, the chart below sums it up.

Yes, pirates would win many a fight. I do not doubt that. But, they are copying their style from the masters of drunken rage fighting at sea. I mean, vikings had guys called Berserkers whose entire purpose was to get insanely angry and run at people with an axe. Nah, pirates would totally lose to them. Oh yes.
