30 Day Song Challenge, Day Five

Continuing then, Day 05: A song that reminds you of someone.

Probably the hardest part of choosing a song that reminds me of someone is trying to think of someone that’s not Katie, since so many of my favourite songs remind me of her due to my having shared them with her. I finally managed to think of this one, which reminds me of Ethan, my eldest nephew.

Whenever Ethan comes up to our house for a bit, he always asks to play paint on my computer. Since I’m always listening to music on my computer, he’s been forced to listen to a fair bit of my collection. One time Big Rock Candy Mountain came on thanks to shuffle, and he found it hilarious, mostly for the line about cigarette trees. In fact, now nearly everytime he’s on my computer he asks to hear the cigarette tree song. Something about that boy ain’t right.
