30 Day Song Challenge, Day Six

Continuing then, Day 06: A song that reminds of you of somewhere.

Ok, so this one’s going to be particularly banal. You know how the first time you listen to a song will sometimes imprint a particular memory in with it, and by simply listening to that song later you can unlock that memory from seemingly nowhere. That’s what this is a case of.

As an aside, I remember once driving from Lochinver to Gairloch listening to a Mars Hill sermon on wine, and then when I later re-listened to that 90 minute sermon I was able to replay the entire drive in my head. It was awesome.

Anyway, I’d bought Mylo’s Destroy Rock & Roll almost solely for the song Doctor Pressure, which I’d thoroughly enjoyed listening to on my night shifts at my previous job, but I don’t think I really listened to the album until one day, while cycling out to Loch Lomond, it came up as the random album on my mp3 player and this song came on as I went under an underpass, and since it mentioned cycling it formed a strong link so that everytime I hear this song I can’t help but picture the underpass.

Like I say, incredibly banal.
