30 Day Song Challenge, Day Eight

Katie’s favourite band are the Zac Brown Band, as she made clear here. I, on the other hand, mostly find them bland. I don’t want you to get the impression that I dislike all the music she likes, and vice versa, for that is absolutely not true. In the venn diagram of our musical tastes, we have a large intersection. Saying that, though, there are outliers and unfortunately, the Zac Brown Band certainly fall in circle K, but not M.
That’s why it surprised her, one evening, when I knew every word to a song on one of their albums that I’d never heard before. We’d been driving home from Columbus, and she’d put on one of the disc’s from a ZBB benefit concert for listening material. I’d mostly been sitting there, trying not to say anything rude about them. But then came a song I recognised, and even liked (though, admittedly, much less than the version I already knew).
